Besto Pesto, a woman-owned and run business, was launched in Rhode Island in 2007 by Michele Kozloski to bring homemade pesto to Farmer's Markets in Rhode Island with Lemon Basil Pesto. In 2009, Besto Pesto was introduced to the midwest in Chicago.
